Joey Chimes is a Chicago-based composer, pianist, and improviser.
His first official album, Reflections on Solitude, was released in June 2020. His second album, LUNARIS, was released in February 2021.
In 2023, he was awarded Best Emerging Artist at United Solo alongside Jackie Smook for their cabaret entitled “The Jackie Smook Program of De-Dumbification.”
